When I found this, I was surprised - who knew that the great aviator Charles Lindbergh had an author for a wife?Now I am appalled - how is it that a woman with such a gift for beautiful and brilliant prose can be anything less than mandatory reading?! Why is this not listed in every book catalog beside the other great spiritual classics?
Brief, intensely insightful, generous and gentle, Gift from the Sea is impossible to pigeon-hole into a single genre so I won't try. Instead I'll simply say that I wish I'd found it years ago and highly recommend making time to read it yourself!
